and a summary from Hyos on BGG in English (from the Kingdom Death board as Ulisses-Spiele was handling the EU distribution for this amongst a bunch of other boardgame KS projects)

The short version of what happened: the Germany-based company Ulisses Games are both publisher and until recently distributor for various RPG games and media. They decided to drop the distribution part of their business virtually overnight and focus on the publishing part (they are publisher of the most popular German RPG system "Das Schwarze Auge" - "The Black Eye").

Now they were handling the EU warehouse for KDM and were supposed to be the EU warehouse for the fulfillment of this KS as well. Apparently they told their customers (like Adam) with a 7 days notice.

Presumably a new distributor called BURST will pick up Ulysses' business (and do distribution for Ulysses themselves) and nothing will change for Adam besides having a new contact for the EU warehousing.

Nevertheless there is a transition period and the EU warehouse for the KDM store shows nothing in stock, and that will probably stay that way until transition to BURST is done, assuming Adam decides to use their services.

so I suspect there are going to be a number of KS companies sweating right now as to whether the distribution deals and prices they signed up to with Ulissese-Speils are still going to hold with this new company Burst, hopefully they will and nothing is going to get too complicated, although the amount of notice given is a bit concerning as when companies spin out bits you're never quite sure whether they have the appropriate share of the parent companies balance sheet and debts (and not too little of the former and too much of the latter)
