Hey all, long time GW player here. By trade I am an armorer and leathersmith. Took me about 13 months to finish. But i wanted to do a suit with some inspiration from some of my long time hobbies/passions (40k, Gi Joe, Medieval stuff). Its fully functional 10/11oz leather, With Heat treated 16 gauge, Carbon Steel scales over 16guage Chain-mail Arms and Tassets. It is fully articulating and other than knee and elbow (and head) its durable for SCA caliber heavy list. Anyway without further ado. (PS im doing a full Fulgrim and Captain America Armor suit next)

It weighs Approx 30 lbs in total. The heaviest being the arms and Tassets. The arms /pauldrons how ever were designed to pull/stress on the center chest appose to sitting on each shoulder that would induce a sag effect pending on a persons shoulder build.

So I come to the realization , I will never get to all the legions. But I did just finish a Sons of Horus inspired with a little Alpha Legion splash..
Come OCTOBER I plan to do a Word Bearers themed suit, Colchesian Runes and Ashen Circles through out the whole thing.
