So I was very skeptical to start playing AOS but I noticed that they have made it more balanced with the generals handbook. I have some dwarves from Fantasy. I was wondering if I should stick with my Dwarves or drop them for one of the new factions? I was thinking about getting the start collecting box from the Fyreslyers that is coming out soon.

You can just use your dwarfs, mabey try the game out first and then you can always buy more stuff

Wait for the new General's Handbook as Dwarfs (Dispossed) will be getting their own allegiance abilities. You'll have 20% for allies and you can use that to start you next army from too! :-)

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

You can play your dwarves. Try a few games to see if you like how they play though.

Yup. Should be released by the end of August. The stated plan is to have the General's Handbook be a yearly update.

I would say buy nothing see if anyone local even play it. The number one complaint I hear about is no one to play against.

There is alot of people on the internet saying there is alot of people but....... there is also alot saying they have a group of like 3 people to play with max in a city.

I need to go to work every day.

There is a small group that does play here. Idk if the gamesworkshop really plays that much.

Dwarves are good, but then again that can be said from most of the pre-fantasy factions. You can also look at the other variations, like the Slayer dwarves and the Steampunk dwarves for alternative ways to play.
