Hello all,

My brother started out his army of Nurgle Rotbringers and I wanted to join him in Age of Sigmar. I am almost set for Death Alliance (Nighthaunts allegiance) but have a question about rules for summoning:
- If I understand rulebook correctly I need to set aside points for summoning - this is clear. But does summoning break allegiance?

To make myself clear: I have units of Spirit Hosts that says "Battleline if: Nighthaunts allegiance" that I use for my battleline requirements. I wanted to use my Banshee General with Sword of Unholy Power to bring in a unit of 4 Morghast Harbingers. Does it break my allegiance if I set some points aside for them and can I bring a whole unit of 4 Morghasts?

Thanks for answer.

It does not.

Allegiance and "Battleline if" are for list building. And you build your list inside the allegiance and with the Battleline-if condition. You set aside points for summoning. You don't have to say what for. Bring a Mourngul and set it beside the table for psychological warfare. No need to summon it.

BUT you can only summon a unit of 2, as stated on the Morghast Harbinger warscroll.

Hmm... You are right I did not read it fully. Welp it's another incentive to bring Master of Dark Arts on my General.
