Hi everyone, I'm trying to drum up some support for my friends at the hard 6 podcast who are doing a charity raffle for the https://www.happydayscharity.org they're a great charity who organise days out and events for sick and terminally ill children.

The prize of the raffle is for a fully painted and converted approx 3k (probably more) death guard army. Jay and Adam from the podcast are both commission painters and will be painting it to a good standard, they've both accumulated a load of painting awards and will be joined by some friends to paint the army including a golden daemon winner.

There is also a runner up prize of a small primaris force.

I'll post updates about what the army includes but there's loads from a heldrake and land raider to plague marines.

So please help out if you can one ticket is less than a coffee or a pint, and goes to a really worthwhile cause ... and you might even win a new army!!

I do have one question. How much actually goes to the charity? Because, if I am going to donate to a charity I want to know how much is actually going to the cause.

All of it, all models have been donated by hard 6s sponsor/marines from the dark imperium from friends. The painting is like a free commission.

All payments go through just giving which is a secure site and their fees are covered by a charity tax break called gift aid

Very cool. I will have to donate then. Nothing upsets me more than donating to a charity only to find out most of it never went to the intended cause. Hate to see people make money off of people's generosity in giving to a person in need.

I couldn't agree more, and they've chosen happy days as we can post updates on what the money has actually gone towards afterwards too, so you know you've made a difference to someone.

August is a tight month, so I couldn't donate as much as I would like to, but I donated what I knew I could afford atm. May donate more at the end of the month depending on how life works out.

So this arrived today! You also get a brand new crusader case to keep all the minis safe!!!

The guys are getting together towards the end of august to paint the army with a live draw mid September by James (not podcast James) from goblin gaming.
