I was quite pleasantly blown away by the New Order (the Old Blood not so much, it was okay) which wasn't just a damned good shooter, but also oozed with style, great characters (both friend and foe) and moments. Plus the guns didn't just have a nice and meaty sound to them, but they also tore chunks of gore out of nazis.
After romping through occupied Europe we now get to rampage through occupied America, enjoying lovely strawberry milkshakes and toting the power armour from the first game. So, who else is looking forward to this one?
The trailer is quite enticing. I do like the look of it. I haven't played a game in this series since Wolfenstein 3D.

The last Wolfenstien was pretty good. Had a great story going along with it. Great Graphics. I never actually beat it - it was pretty hard. I'm sure this will be much the same so if you enjoy shootem up style with good story line - this will probably be your favorite game this year.

I only just played The New Order a week ago after remembering that I'd bought it in a Steam Sale (and promptly baulked at the file size). That was decent enough, lots of interesting set pieces (I liked the Gibraltar bridge). They did going off the deep end with the Nazi-pulp thing though (WTF did they still have Hanomag and Puma based designs 20 years after WWII...).
Personally I only played The New Order through the once then watched a Youtube video of all the differences the other choice offered. I choose Fergus, despite how cliche he was (though that's hard to avoid with any of the characters). His accent does slip quite a bit unfortunately, as they for some reason had a Southern English guy voicing a Glaswegian.
I liked Tekla, but Wyatt's timeline does have (a radiation blast burned) Jimmy Hendricks in it...
Spoiler:
That whole part where you go to the Moon was pretty epic too.
The only part of The New Order I really enjoyed was the moon part, I didnt think the rest was particularly inspired, and I didnt care for any of the characters. So I'm not really looking forward to this new one.
I’ve been playing on the second highest difficulty setting and as expected, its brutal but fun.
I love the gunplay in this game(and the previous), they just sound and feel satifying, the effects on the enemy are nice too.

I'm seriously not impressed by this game. At all. I enjoyed The New Order. This game is simply trash.
I can forgive the sometimes iffy gunplay. I can also forgive the odd glitch or stutter. But when you spend more time watching cut scenes than playing in some areas it very quickly grates.
However, I'm not surprised. The Dishonored 2 DLC was terrible, Fallout 4 was disgracefully lacking in substance, and their last hit DOOM was made by id. Seriously Bethesda, sort it out!

Mixed bag myself, it has some very memorable moments in there, but it was over before I knew it. Mind, I still need to use the Enigma machine to hunt down officers, which is buggy, as I've hunted down one so far and was unable to leave the level afterwards, forcing me to reload and skip it, yet somehow the game saved my progress, so thankfully I don't have to replay it again. I may do that, but it's just a retread of levels already visited before, soooooo..
Yet, there are a few unresolved plot points / hooks, so annoying!
Spoiler:
- The device found by Spesh in Roswell, that Set keeps obsessing over, I'm calling it now and saying: time travel machine.
- The two nazi robots B.J. killed in the hangar and dumped in Set's lab
- The large door in the sub with the timer on it, related to the upcoming DLC?
As for the memorable moments, some spoilers be here..
Spoiler:
- VENUS! It could've been a retread of the moon base from the first game, but it has some nice twists in there. The entire audition scene does tend to drag a bit, but it was fun to see B.J. give such a wooden delivery of those lines, only to "kill" it when asked to take down a guard in a nasty way. Especially made fun when that guard easily takes down the actor before you and then just lies down.
- Max Hass' drawings being put together to create a nice picture of his foster father Klaus.
- B.J. FINALLY shutting the feth UP about being an old man
