I love the yellow and orange glow of the plasma cannon. I think these oop models are so unique and dont get enough love compared to more recent higher detail models great job keep up the good work
Nice work...what's odd is people continually mention "higher detail" on recent minis and that's not actually accurate. The metal components were easily as detailed (occasionally less crisp because they were designed by hand and not computer). The only weak part of the system was the plastic components - as plastic tech wasn't fully up to spec at that point.
I was sad to see the unique Devastator components get deleted from the Space Marine lines (they kept the occasional helmet). The heavier boots, and various small bits on the old metal devastators were really cool flourishes.
