Hello,

I first wish to apologize if I am posting this at the wrong location and to thank you heretics for so much awesome information! I am currently working on a diorama consisting of "Inquisitor Aghastri study of Zombie plague" (with alot of zombies) and I have read some post on the forums but I still have

some questions I would love to get answered. My army will consist of Inquisitor Aghastri forces:

- Inquisitor Aghastri (made)
- A missionary
- Redemptionists
- Imperial storm troopers (converted)
- a Sister Hospitaller
- 1 character from the Repentia squad
- Immolator converted (inquisitor)

I am wondering if these units could go together in the same squad or if there is some "rules" that will contraindicate their cooperation. I know that Inquisitor Aghastri intently studied the the Zombie Plague since the study could also help understanding of the Emperor of Mankind's current state and

how he might yet be reborn, would this make him radical or puranist? Are the units assisting him (priest/missionary) purely puranists? Since the Ordo Sepulturum doesn't have any army roster and I have shared the same thoughts as many other people on the forum about equipping Inquisitor

Aghastri force with shotguns, flamers, and gas masks, I still would love some input. I also know that during the reclamation of Kathur the Inquisitor who was active in this was Bastian Caius, but Inquisitor Aghastri formed the Ordo Sepulturum and began to hunt down outbreaks of the plague

zombies virus.

I wish to try and re-enact the scene where Aghastri is trying to study this virus but him and his unit are being overwhelmed by the zombies in a city scenario. Could this work?

Thank you for you time!

The fact that Aghastri is keeping Sisters in the retinue strongly implies a Puritan bent, as Sisters would not be so friendly with a more Radical one.

Lexicanum tells me that the ordo sepulturum is Thorian, and that the Thorian are Puritan.
So...

Thank you guys for the answers, but would his studies not bother any puritan? Is it because he has the Emperor of Mankind in his thoughts? Because it kinda seems a little radical to me, since he wishes to manipulate/study something that in a puritans mind should be burned immediately?

According to lexicanum again, the resurectionnists have been destroyed several times, so yes, I guess we can tell they bother some people^^
However, they are more accepted since Sebastian Thor, and not threatened anymore.
Could someone with more knowledge of the deep Inquisition confirm or correct this ?
Interesting thread indeed, I would have said that this kind of researchs were Radical before reading the opposite on lexicanum.

Thank you! Its making a lot more sense to me now. I also have one more questions, this may also sound a bit stupid... but can Chaos Cultists and Plague Zombies fight side-by-side? I assume that both of them were in the "Reclamation of Kathur". I know that the plague was blessed by the Plague Lord Nurgle and that one of the rules is that Typhus can turn any Chaos Cultist unit into Plague Zombies. For me it seems like they could, but just wondering if im wrong... Thanks again!

Krieg! What a hole...

The Remnants PDF were cultists, I think (or considered living followers of Chaos, compared to the zombies) so I would say yes

Burned, for sure - but if you study it properly you might get a better idea of how to burn it. It's not radical to study the enemy, it's radical to use the enemy. So as long as his studies aim at destroying it more efficiently instead of using it he's safe. Mostly. Sisters are known to be fanatics even among fanatics so the Inquisitor might have to do some fast talking once in a while, but a firm statement that he's learning to destroy the subject better should work.

Fluff says there are different strains of zombie plague, so it might be easier to avoid infection with some of them. Also, it's quite possible Nurgle aligned cultists would be flat out immune, at least to the part of the virus that makes em go brain dead.
