So I have never played Harleyquins, but I do like the idea of them in 8th. They seem much improved and as part of a Ynnarri army I can certainly imagine running a solitaire and a few units of Troupes. My question is about Troupe load outs. I don't have the magnetising skills for those tiny, tiny little army. Whilst I like the look of the swords, it seems like the caress is the optimal load out. I'm not sure I buy the idea of fusion pistols bar against the odd cheeky flier unit. Is this what other people have been having success with? Caress and shuriken pistol? Assuming you have dedicated anti tank stuff elsewhere...

Embraces, point for point, are the most effective weapon. Personally, I run 2 Caresses and 3 Embraces in each Troupe. Some people have been running a Fusion Pistol on every Troupe member (5 per squad), but I think that's a bit overkill - so I have about 3 per squad. Fusion Pistol is the business.

There isn't much anti-tank elsewhere in the army, so fusion pistols are almost mandatory. Whether you want to go all 5 or just a few is more a matter of preference. I personally run 2 squads full fusion, and 1 without. I find you really need more than 2-3 if you want to knock a vehicle out in one go, and since you have to get so close, you want to make sure you destroy it when you have the chance. Also, if you run them as Ynnari you want to be able to kill things in one go to generate soulburst.

As far as CCW, embraces are the most efficient, but I like to run one squad with caresses to deal with any T8 things that survive the fusion. Kisses seem to have taken the biggest nerf, and I rarely see anyone run them since they are so expensive. Hopefully the codex brings them down a bit so there is some balance between the weapons.

Well, I run five Player units with 2 fusion guns and 3 embraces.
If a Troupe Master with fusion pistol and embrace/caress is attached (in a Starweaver), the unit has an improved output.
This is my loadout for a Batallion in a Ynnari army.

I divide my fusion pistols a bit so I don't lose a ton of points at every casualty. Harlies are expensive and relatively fragile.

Okay. I've got 20. And a couple of troupe masters. I got 8 fusion pistols I think. Have putthem all on dudes with embraces. Then a load of caresses. Then the rest get swords. I've got 4 starweavers but thinking of using them as Rush and Confuse units in a Ynari army. Useful for bringing in the Yncarne. So probably only run 2 units usually. Or 4 with a couple of units of howling banshees for a full rush list, now that fliers got the double nerf bat.

I do this

2 Caress with 2 Fusions Guns (I kill off the embraces 1st that way my cheapest models die off 1st and i will keep my 2 more important ones).
3 Embraces
Starweaver

I do this 3-5 times in my army

For AT i would use Dark Reapers or Ravagers, Harlequins lack AT and honestly DE/Eldar have it much better than quins's ever will.
