Hi everyone,

I'm new as a member but by no means new to Dakka in general (which I'm on frequently, normally in the P&M forums. My apologies in advance but I am desperately trying to track down a model I came across during a late night interwebz session and hopefully, my vague description below may jog someone's memory.

The model in question is (from what I recall) a Russian cosmonaut. He has an oversized head and small body/limbs, and is flying. He is from a skirmish game (I don't recall which though) and is a fantastic looking little model. He's quite evil looking too.

I realise reading that back, how little there is to go on. But he's quite distinctive so I'm hoping someone will be able to tell from that.

Thanks everyone

Sounds a bit like the Mekon from Dan Dare or this

I'm stumped.

Why do you say cosmonaut, what made it look Russian? Was it a realistic, pulpy or science fiction suit?

I know crooked dice makes some astronauts

Victory Force has some in their not-Star Trek line.

But I don't recall any that screamed Russian to me or any that were flying.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the reponses; he's not in there unfortunately. :(

To try and give more information: He's is a named character (from memory) so doesn't have a generic 'spaceman' name. The proportions are really off: His head is practically the size of the whole of his body. He's in a spacesuit without a helmet, but with the head wrap that shows his face. I believe him to be almost in a sitting position with a pack on which is how he flys.

I must admit I can't seem to place why I think he's a comsonaut, maybe a detail following his name. Memory is an odd thing!

The game was definitely skirmish (like Malifaux with individual models) but I can't place the setting in my head: maybe steampunk/sci-fi type. I

I appreciate any help from my rubbish vague recollection. If I find him before some helpful dakkanaut I'll be sure to post a pic up.

I found it!! After trawling back through all the website data on my iPad. He's called Sputnik and is from a game called Pulp City which I'm not familiar with. Not sure how you post a pic but link below:

Looking at him I can see my description was less than stellar. Thanks to you both for trying to help. It was driving me insane!

It's a generic super-hero game, with some pretty cool models in some fairly familiar themes.

Pulp City is the dogs. I love that game. I was especially disappointed that I missed the reds vs Blues KS back when they had the new factions show up.

Good find. He reminds me of Modok, or Hector Hammond.
