Very nicely done.
Are you looking for critical feedback?

Hello corpuschain, I was just wanting to show My Chaos Terminators. I looked at My Gallery & saw that I had not taken pictures of them for Dakka Dakka.

I painted the Squad & Lord around when the model kits first came out. In the recent past I decided to add Alpha Legion water slide transfers to the empty blue space on the shoulder guards.

I probably will leave them as they are because if I re-worked them I would do a full strip of the paint work & start over. The tusks on the helmets could probably be re-done & maybe a wash.

If You have any ideas on what would make them look better with out having to do a full strip I could take another look at the six models.

Thanks You for Your comment & Thanks for having a look at My paint work. :-)

My suggestions were relatively minor; I don't think you need to strip them.

A blue wash on the armour and a dark wash on the metal would help the depth quite a lot (as you have obviously noticed yourself).

The other thing I noticed is that the little bags and SM helmets on the trophy racks are painted the same yellow as the parts. I find this a little odd, as if the bags are glowing for some reason I would paint paint the bags a more subtle colour (perhaps dark green?), and then the weapons would stand out more.

Thank You corpuschain,

Next time I do a paint order I will get blue wash.

I have Nuln Oil Wash right now as the only wash available.

When I painted these Chaos Terminators I was following My old Second/Third Edition paint scheme idea for Alpha Legion where there was a bold yellow color included in the detail work.

For the heavy flamer, combi-flamer & the affixed chain-weapon bayonets the yellow is enough. I like Your idea of painting the trophy rack parts Dark Green.

My current idea of how Chaos Space Marine - Alpha Legionnaires should look is the main armor Dark Blue/Navy Blue, Silver Trim & Filigree, Red or Green Lenses & graduated colors of green for helmet head dress hair.

My recent past, basic squad of Alpha Legion troops looks like the picture below.

One thing I have yet to do for My Alpha Legionnaire collection is to paint Hydra Scales on the main blue armor.
