Unit count: 17

So now I'll explain the idea behind this list.
The Predators and Havocs will stay at the back. Warpsmith with the Predators and normal Chaos Lord with the Havocs for rerolling 1's. 2 units of cultists will surround the Havocs and Predators in case of Deep Striking shenanigans.
The Slaanesh Stratagem will be used on the Havocs so they can fire twice in one turn.
One Terminator squad will deepstrike with a Chaos Lord an Chaos Sorcerer. Slaanesh Stratagem will be used so they can shoot twice. Chaos Lord rerolls 1's so no Mortal Wounds when I overcharge the plasmaguns. Warptime will be cast on them so they can assault. Death Hex vs units with an invul save. Hopefully the Chaos Lord can make the assault aswell. Murder Sword will help against a specific character.
Another Terminator squad will deepstrike with the other Chaos Lord. Presience will be cast on them so none will die due overcharging plasma. Stratagem will be used on them so they can also shoot twice. Again Warptime will be cast to make sure they can assault.
The other Cultist squads will be my objective hunters. Now with the obj. secure rule it aslong as I got one unit on there they will have it. The Alpha Legion trait will give them -1 to hit.

Let me know what you guys think of this list.

Lord can only buff friendly "legion" units so you would have to move the lord to the emperor's children detachment. The warpsmith can only repair friendly "legion" vehicles unfortunately, so both preds would need to be in the same detachment to both be eligible.

I like the strategy but the large number of drops is concerning unless you are playing by the roll-off rule, rather than the first deployed goes first. It might be more effective to put everything in emperor's children besides the cultists. The terminators will be in 12" if they are rapid firing plasma, not benefitting from the legion tactic unless they kill everything nearby. Terminators with emperor's children will be able to make attacks on death, which is a great time to overcharge as well.

Thanks for the advice.
I'll change my list. So 2 Sorcerers will be Alpha Legion and 3 squads Cultists (the ones that will do the objective grabbing) will be at -1 to hit. The rest will all be Emperors Children so they can benefit from the '2x shooting Stratagem'.
The Terminators are only meant to shoot twice and kill everything at their path. Never intended them to be at -1 to hit with Alpha Legion. They will be at rapid fire range and be able to assault due Warptime. So ill make sure whatever they will target they will kill. I can always overcharge them at no risk because of the lord or sorcerer .
I think we will use the roll-off rule instead of the normal one.
What do you mean with ' Terminators with emperor's children will be able to make attacks on death, which is a great time to overcharge as well. ?

Sorry, I confused their legion trait with noise marine ability to shoot when they are killed. Emperor's children are the attack first in close combat tactic.

At least you can use the shoot twice strategem still, though.

I would take oblitz over the termies, their power output is scary and can also benefit from the shoot twice stratagem

Hmm not sure about that one. Will Oblits are fun to play with I find them to random. Overcharging my Termies will make sure I'll have 10 str 8 shots that do 2 dmg. So 20 shots with the Stratagem and since the lord is close or sorcerer no deaths if I roll ones. 3 Oblits are 12 shots or 24 shots with the Stratagem but they could be only str 7 and with -1 ap and just 1 dmg. Also the Terminators are better in CC then the Oblits imho.

You are also paying 67 pts more for the 5 man termie squad than an oblit squad, which can open up a LOT of options

Hmm. Ok, I'm gonna try both lists.
So I'll make adjustments to include the Obliterators.

2 squads of oblits instead of termies.
Pump up 2 Cultists Squads to 20 models (Alpha Legion) for objective grabbing.
Add 2 Havocs in each squad for extra ablative wounds
Also gave the Sorcerers the 'Feel no Pain' psychic power instead of warptime to cast on the Oblits, this will make them even more durable!
Oblits don't have any close combat weapons anymore right, can't seem to find it anywhere.

What you think?.
