I'm looking in it's rules, and it doesn't say anything about transport of Primaris Marines...

So can it transport or not?

No by the tournament tight rules.

But the more house rule idea, making them count as bulky, and just leave at that works fine in regard to storm birds, t hawks, and marstadons etc.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

You're incorrect on that, they can be transported.

Transports this time around need to specify exactly what can be transported. The Stormbird says it can carry <CHAPTER> INFANTRY. It then lists a bunch of keywords that can be transported but take up more space. PRIMARIS is not one of them, so since PRIMARIS marines are also <CHAPTER> INFANTRY, then they can be transported no problem.

Compare with the transport entry for Thunderhawk Transporter, which specifically denies PRIMARIS models to embark (Chadmarines are too snooty to use such crappy planes).

Is this an oversight? Only time and errata will tell. So far it hasn't been altered by errata.

Hey I am bumping this because we just played a huge regular 40k game and this came back into question.

I have been looking through the FAQ and haven’t found anything on this.

The player had a squad of Primaris in the Sokar, I think a 10 man squad of Intercessors. Then picked up a 5 man squad of Scouts on turn 2 or 3. Was this legal?
