Seems like they messed up a bit.
DAEMONIC RITUAL
Printed Codex:
This unit is treated as reinforcements for your army and can be placed anywhere on the battlefield that is within 12" of the character and is more than 9" from any enemy model.

This unit is treated as reinforcements for your army and can be placed anywhere on the battlefield that is wholly within 12" of the character and is more than 9" from any enemy model.
I pointed out the lack of "wholly within" in the printed codex during their livestream of the inside the studio, seems it was changed in the digital because without wholly you could place a single model within 12" and congaline across the board with the rest which is clearly not intended and broken as .
Seems they forgot to include this change in the FAQ.

The sorting out troop roles isnt even best thing about it. The daemon prince now benefiting from legion trait is gold. They also fixed the champions wargear issue

Not sure why they couldn't fix it so that Possessed become troops for Word Bearers, Raptors for Night Lords, Chosen for Alpha Legion, Mutilators/Obliterators for Iron Warriors, and Terminators for Black Legion.
It's just super unfair treatment that the whiners got their way for the Cult Legions.
Also really hoped that the Terminators would have gotten a fix to say that the two extra points were a total mistake.

As EC and WE were in the index, but suddenly removed for some random reason. I don't, and as a result I've gotten my Sonic troops back.

So much was taken away I was shocked they bothered to have the entries for EC and WE. TS and DG made sense since they were getting their own Codices.

There was no precedent for Possessed as Word Bearers Troops before the end of 7th Legions book. It's not really historically their "thing" like EC and WE being connected with their respective Cult units.
