Subject: Small Scale Plastic Terrain Kits Crowdfunder from Troublemaker Games - Now shipping!
Well, I'm in. Best of luck. I hope these fund. I have plans for 6mm and 15mm buildings but I am thinking they might work well for 28mm corridors for the new Necromunda...

I'd like to do that, but it does add some extra costs on my end.
Tell ya what, if we reach at least Stretch Goal #5, I'll run it so pledgers can choose a mix of any sprues they want after the campaign finishes. We should have enough of a head of steam at that point to absorb the extra costs.

Thankyou. :-)
I think you might like the Cyberhive set especially. :-)

So if I understand this correctly there will be no new perks when stretchgoals are reached, it will all be done through the current mix-bag perks?

I'll do separate Perks for each set until we reach Stretch Goal #5, when I'll rationalize them down to a single set of core Perks (with a post-campaign form to fill out to say what combo of sprues each person wants).
Anyone who pledged during the Stretch 0-4 stages will also have the option of swapping their sprues around to have a mix of sets.
Some of the post-#5 goals will warrant their own Perks as they're not directly interchangeable.

All Giant Robots (tm) love them some terrain to smash.

Personally I plan to use them for industrial areas in my 6mm games. The features are fairly scale-agnostic IMO so they're suitable for 6mm.
Plus, once we get to Stretch Goal #4, the reverse sides will pick up detail, and that won't have the ladders on, if you're concerned about there being ladders everywhere.

Maybe you'd be interested in the "Cyberhive" set Stretch goal? That's pretty scale-agnostic?

Plus, some of the kits (eg: The "Cyberhive" stretch goal) are fairly scale-agnostic, and it's also not inconceivable that a future dedicated crowdfunder might concentrate more on the 28mm side of things.
But right now, 6mm-15mm needs some love!

Eh, part of the appeal of a Necromunda style skirmish game is gettingt to really identify with your 6-10 figures (and paint them more individually etc.). I don't need to game ina 2'x2' square, so I see little that 15mm brings to the table. If anything I'd rather player a 40K game in 15mm.

I guess the main benefits of playing in 15mm over 30mm are cheaper scenery/miniatures, and larger battlescapes - you could play a game on a 4x4 table that looks like a large city block of a few dozen buildings, instead of a close-quarters clash over 3-5 structures, which might change the feel of the game somewhat??
The church looks good, could work for 15mm Mordheim.
Yeah, the main appeal for me of smaller scale Necromunda is the size of buildings in comparison to the models. My standard 6mm building (a stackable storage tray from a DIY shop) would be I guess about 18 inches high if converted into 28mm, and I guess around 24 inches by 15 inches depth and width. But yes, this comes at the cost losing detail on the models, so I like to do both scales. As for 15mm Necromunda, I kind of tried that, buying 20mm historical plastics, very cheap not realising the material (PVC?) is quite different to the plastic I was used to.
