Hey all, some of you know me guys on some of the other blogs as Buggus. I've done a crud load of modeling an painting. So, now that the kids are a bit older, the old hobby shall return.

Currently I am purchasing the things I need in order start again.

Nids will be the new project, lots of picture, etc, and a new thread.

I've already picked out my skin tone, nurlge flesh for the skin tone. With that being said, I need the avid painters to assist on a armour plate color for the nids. I need something that is going to pop on the table. Toss me some color that you think would go with this skin tone.

This is what I am currently putting together right now.

10x Gargoyles
12x hormagaunts

I am currently looking at adding a broodlord to my collection. There are two variants out there right now, spacehulk one, and the larger character model. Over all what do you guys think about the two, as far as game play are there any foreseen issue?

The direct compliment of green is red. Since the nurgle flesh is so muted I would go with bright vibrant reds. Maybe a black shell with red markings on it.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Dock the arm, and tentacle, clean up the sac, then green stuff it to attach to the socket.

Both talons are complete, time to let it all dry. Next step is to flush up the connection. Then green stuff gaps.

Once the legs are set, I'm thinking about docking the tail. If not I'm going to cut, and then bend it so that it looks different.

Putting the arms on, I'll break the back after the arms are solid to redo the connection.

I’ve not been converting a lot with nids. Mostly because the units are so straight forward. The picture below shows the warrior arms combined with the hive guard hands

I like the Flyrant's 'bollocks-first' pose.

Did you settle on a paint-scheme?

The Fall of Kronstaat IV
Война Народная | Voyna Narodnaya | The People's War - 2,765pts painted (updated 06/05/20)
Волшебная Сказка | Volshebnaya Skazka | A Fairy Tale (updated 29/12/19, ep10 - And All That Could Have Been)
Kabal of The Violet Heart (updated 02/02/2020)

All 'crimes' should be treasured if they bring you pleasure somehow.

Up top I posted a link for my skin, and I’m still deciding on the plate/scales.

Also, another 12 gaunts arrived for cleaning. And I’m still finishing up nine warrior.

Thinking about doing my bases in this left over material. Do you guys have any thoughts on what would go with space station base material?

It keep saying my image size is to large. I normally post from my phone. Today I’m on the iPad, adjusted size, and it’s still failing. Ugg

I’ll try to figure this out tomorrow
