I recently purchased two small bags of what I can only assume are Khorne Beserkers, mish mashed with various model types throughout the game's age. I was given no labels, no context. What are these?

They seem to be kit-bashed from various things but there's a lot of Khorne Berserker parts in there.

Some generic chaos space marine bits too.

The other bits, I think, are old fantasy chaos bits (I could be wrong).

“Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.
The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does.
That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

Do you think any of the pieces would have issues being called Khorne Beserkers? Not all of the axes are 'chain axes', but very obviously axes. My biggest head scratcher is the one who straight up has a mace, in the back of the image.

If you are not going to play tournaments you should be fine anyway. Should someone not want to play against you using these models he is not worth the time, anyway.

If you're asking because you want to play tournaments, even the GW official ones have/had rules like "50% or more GW parts". So I can't imagine a situation where this would be a problem for you.

The axes/mace/other bits look largely to be from the WHFB chaos halbeardier box, circa the 5th ed of that game (roughly 3rd 40k time)

It was a hybrid kit, where the halbeards were metal, but the bodies were plastic.

And i doubt anyone would have a problem with you useing them.

No, you're right. Those extra bits are just the second to last Chaos Warriors kit from Warhammer Fantasy (late Nineties).

These are pretty simple kitbashes with Chaos Warriors and Khorne Berzerkers. Completely GW parts, so if that is a concern, there's nothing to worry about.

The models are 100% GW, anyone who complains is just being a knob.
