I want to pick up a Lord of war for my world eaters. I'd like some feedback in deciding.

Knight. The daemon engine looks stupid.

How so?

Anyway, Kytan, as its a Khorne Daemon Engine, and would fit with your World Eaters

Kytan. The Knight is just a generic Chaos Knight, while Kytan screams be belongs to KHORNE.

The model is just awkward. It is legs added (and probably designed by a different person) to a plastic model that was never great. It looks like a mediocre kitbash at best. The knight on the other hand is one of the best models GW has ever produced.

Sure. But one can khornify the knight!

You could also get a Lord of Skulls. It's one of my favorite models, and it's really good this edition.

It can fire all it's weapons point blank, gets more attacks as it's damaged, and heals a wound every turn.

"Show me where it says that in the codex!" said Learchus.
"You know brother that I cannot." said Uriel.

I have this same quandary and this is what I came up with; If you want a melee beast that will probably kill or cripple any other big thing it can get to, go kytan. If you want a monster shooting platform go with the knight...especially with 2x avenger gatling cannons >=D

Kytan, as it has the Heretic Astares, <Legion>, and Khorne keywords, and as such will benefit from synergies with the rest of your force (like with the CSM stratagems, or the auras of your World Eater characters).

The Kytan is sooooooo much better since the Codex Dropped.

Its a Deamon Engine, so for 1 CP you can reroll any die for a phase wich is insanely good for a model with that dmg output.

Also the modell is awesome!

I own the knight model and it's really nice. I also khorne'd it up.

But considering you play world eaters, I would go with the kytan

Square Bases for Life!
AoS is pure garbage
Kill Primaris, Kill the Primarchs. They don't belong in 40K

Brass Scorpion. It is better than either of those options. If you want a traditional knight I would suggest going full shooting with a renegade knight and just kitbash it into looking khornate.

I'd love a Brass Scorpion, but it's outside my price range(atm), and it's points heavy. Someday I'll get one. RIght now these are my two options I'm considering.
