https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/08/25/new-and-updated-faqs-forge-world-warscrolls-and-compendium-pdfsgw-homepage-post-1/

The General’s Handbook 2017 is on shelves tomorrow, and however you play Warhammer Age of Sigmar, there’s something new for you. To coincide with this game changing new book, we’re releasing loads of new updates to help with your games. The first of these is a set of FAQs designed to clarify your games; the second is a series of updated Warscrolls and matched play points values for your Forge World models, and the third, refreshed Compendium Warscrolls for a range of classic models from a variety of factions.

The release of the new General’s Handbook was a great time for us to take a look at the game and address a few common questions. These FAQs have been written based on feedback given by you, the community, as well as from observations from Warhammer Age of Sigmar Tournaments, and should help make your games run more smoothly than ever.

The new General’s Handbook has brought a range of changes to points, new allegiance abilities and a powerful new allies mechanic that makes including your favourite models in your matched play force easier than ever. Forge World’s Monstrous Arcanum range is designed to give you some unusual and powerful options for your army, from gigantic Carmine Dragons to esoteric options like the Troggoth Hag, and we decided it’d be a great time to update the warscrolls for these models to make sure that they work as well with the new General’s Handbook as possible. You’ll be able to field your Legion of Azgorh army with new points, and bring along powerful allies from other Chaos factions, while if you’re looking to add some allies to your Destruction armies look no further than the much-improved Squig Gobba!

Finally, we’ve updated the Compendium Warscrolls to make sure you can keep using your legacy miniatures and armies in your games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Since Warhammer Age of Sigmar started, the game has evolved, as have the factions within it, and these warscrolls have been updated to be consistent with the tone and feel of the system today.

These are only the warscrolls which have been updated. The Dread Saurian's warscroll can still be found HERE.

I wonder if the app will get updated soon and if the Warscrolls builder will change to Ghb2 or keep both?

Thanks, I should've checked there.

Hopefully the update fixes the little function problems it has.

Very happy with the changes, both warscrolls and errata. Offsets a lot of the GHB2 disappointment for me.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

wow tomb kings no longer takable as deathrattle. That is a change...

Almost all old world named characters gone... :( And there I enjoyed taking my little hand mirror when I played sigvald...

Those errata are so extensive that one should just stick it with glue over the old text. This not a single change here and there. impossible to remember all of it...

Most of it is changing the wording to make things clear on what they meant. The bloodsecrator errata, for example, doesn't actually change anything. It just makes things clear that the buff does not stack.

Change to being in cover, from what I remember anyway. Cant just have a toe in, now the whole model needs to be within cover.

they also removed some keywords from stuff like the hell canon so that you cannot ally it in without taking GA allegiance...

I also noticed that stuff like Thunderscorn cannot be allied in... So that will be the interlude of the end of dragon ogors I guess...

So all the old-world characters are full-stop gone now?

No more Empire Engineer making mortars/cannon better?

No more Knights vs Reiksguard?

Bummer.

Also, does anybody have copies of the old compendiums? I still have a hankering for using Franz!

It's been that way for a while, they just made it more clear.

Great change on the Blue and Brimstone Horrors, actually. Other hangers look good to me, too, on a quick scan.

This morning they were still on the GW site. The new ones were only on warhammer community. So if you are lucky they might still be there

Oh well.

Edit: Ok, Tomb Kings is on the community site but not GW proper. Strange.
