Just getting back into 40k and building a competitive list, so I was wondering if there were any small tournaments on Long island, or at the very least a place where tournaments are listed or mentioned often.

While not quite what you wanted, https://www.facebook.com/upstatehonorguard/ is a FB page for events within 3 hours of Albany. Sometimes we see events at the southern edge of that, which might be within striking distance from you.

Your best option would probably to head to your FLGS and ask around. I’d bet there is a local FB/Discord/Twitter/whatever group for local players.

We are running a 32 player RTT today at the club. Couple guys playing are from Long Island.

We have New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusets, Pennsylvania, NYC and upstate guys all in attendence today.

Battle for salvation above sets up one of the best major tournaments in the area.
Brothers Grimm regularly has tournaments in selden ny.

I order a lot of my models from the warstore in southold, ny.
There is also men at arms that's well known but I've never been there in middle island, ny that's great for buying models.

Brooklyn strategist has a club but not quite in Long Island with tournies.
