So we've all seen the massive influx of spambots linking to what I presume is malware.

While it's not a perfect or even ideal solution, perhaps it's time to disable links in either clickable or text form for posts under 10 posts?

There's already a good limit in place for 'new accounts' (limiting the number of posts), so I don't think that's a necessary step here.

The spammers aren't exactly clever about this, neither are they trying to hide the crap they're about.

Overall, Dakka Dakka gets rid of them fairly quickly - thanks largely due to users reporting them as soon as they show up.

They do tend to show up in waves, and we look to be in the middle of one now...
