Just found this post.
Awesome.
Been enjoying what your paints are doing for my home-mixed airbrush colors.
I use soapy water, an acrylic artist's tint for bulk, some standard tube acrylic for flow and some of the INSTAR paints for hardness and man, this recipe is working so well in my cheap airbrush. Really, amazing - a new dimension of hobby for me, something that I have always wanted to be able to do - I love the DIY with the predictable results - and it doesn't work without the INSTAR paints to get the paint to set up and stay strong. Without the INSTAR, the paint dries too soft, and scratches off of the models too easily.
With the INSTAR, the stuff dries hard, sticks well to bare metal and bare plastic without undercoat, and makes it possible for me to spray indoors with the airbrush at a fraction of the price of dedicated airbrush paints with the flexibility to make any color that I want.
By the way, I wonder if you are selling kits?
I am interested in a sort of primary colors set, maybe 12 colors in maybe 20ml or 50
ml bottles.
I wonder if you are marketing any other kits?
Anyways, you might check out the new hobby thread in P&M Blogs, here:
