Something I saw earlier this evening...

I like Final Fantasy XIV a lot. I've had to stop playing it because of my job situation, but I've enjoyed my time playing it.

And now it's getting its own TV series.

The Netflix Original Series Final Fantasy XIV Dad of Light will be available for streaming on September 1. It's about a Japanese son who has trouble communicating with his dad, so he arranges for his father to start playing the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, and then secretly becomes friends with him inside the game.
