Awesome, I lived in that area a few years ago. There's no real game stores in the immediate area, but a little north in Plantation there's a couple:

Hey Wanna Play - I've not been since I've moved, but they have Warhammer club day on Wednesday nights, and I think they're running an escalation league right now. I really liked this store when I lived there, and made a Facebook group for the players there:

Put in a request and I'll add you in.

A bit further north is Tate's Gaming Satellite, which is right next door to Tate's Comics. I've when I lived there the 40k scene was dead, but it might have picked up since then, what with the new edition an all.

In North Broward, there's a store called Docking Bay 94 Comics. They have a small miniatures group that meets on Saturdays to game and Tuesdays for hobby. They do 40k and other games, like Infinity. I just discovered them, after moving to West Palm myself, and it seems like a good group. Their organizer sends out a newsletter every week, you can email him to get on it:

Far south in Miami there's Silver Dragon Tavern. I've not been there but I've heard good things about it.

Wasn't so bad. Only a few down fences and trees some flooding. Didn't have power for about 40 hours. Had a generator so we had a.c.. I know other areas had it worse though
