Hi people. I just love beastmen, especially bullgor. What do you think of this list ? Not much variety, but it's not like if we had tons of options.

You go pair of axes on the bullgors, forgoing great axes. Not happy about that idea.

I agree the great axes are the way to go. Super amazing damage output.

Its worth noting that the bullgor stampede is no longer a usable battalion. Truth be told though I have always found that battalion to be an unnecessary waste of points to begin with.

Second I'm not sure you can take anything from Allegiance Chaos as you need to be Allegiance Warherd to take Bullgors as Battleline to begin with.

He can use items and traits from the Chaos alligence, since all of his army is keyword Chaos. Warherds alligence does not do anything other than giving bullgors the battleline keyword. Just to bad the stampade formation don't work anymore, those extra attacks were amazing!

I thought the book only allowed you to declare one allegiance. If there is a passage or an faq that lets you take one allegiance to unlock battleline but still default to there grand allegiance for artifacts and the like please give me a page number, because I would really like to use this myself.

Why is the Bullgor Stampede not usable anymore?

Well the first reason is because by the time the first General's Hand book came out Minotaurs were renamed Bullgors, but the "Bullgor Stampede" requires 3 units of Minotaurs. However, I find this reason to be a bit pedantic and just completely over shadowed by the second reason which is that the second General's Hand book just removed it and all other compendium Battalions.

Though if I'm being honest I stopped using it long before then. I found that if I was already generating those extra attacks, I had already done enough damage to kill whatever I was fighting already. And for 120 points that's another Doombull or a small monster like a Cockatrice you could add.

Weirdly, Bullgor Stampede is in the 2017 Warscroll Builder.

I saw a boxed set called Bloodfeast Gorgers with a Ghorgon and three Bullgors. I wonder if that will have a new warscroll battalion in there?

I wish Sayl the Faithless could still teleport any Chaos models. That was awesome flinging the warherd at enemies from across the table

It's an 'Allies' box, as its contents come out to 380 points. I doubt it will have a Battalion Warscroll and even if it did I would imagine they wouldbe like the Start Collecting boxes and not be for Matched Play.

Per the AoS app you can. I have a Warherds alliance set and you can add Chaos Artifacts.

sorry to resurrect this old thread, but anyone have anymore input on the legality of the bullgore stampede?
