So, I think everyone can agree that the Inquisition is kind of crap right now. With that in mind, changes!

First changes: Bring back some unique wargear, with limited access based off of Ordo. Additionally, bring back 'Inquisitor in Power Armor', who has the same stats as a stock Inquisitor, but a 3+ save.
Ditch the 'Automatically a Psyker if you want' thing. Make the stock Inquisitor cheaper, make Psyker an upgrade that costs points/PL.

Rad Grenades and Psykotroke Grenades should make a return, limited to Ordo Xenos, though perhaps with some simplification compared to older editions: Rad Grenades are a shooting attack (Grenade standard, so d3 shots with 6" range) that, if they hit, give a +1 To Wound against the target in the following Assault phase.
Psykotroke Grenades are the same shooting profile, but with a D3 chart:
1: The target suffers -2 Leadership until the end of the turn
2: The target suffers -1 to-hit in Close Combat until the end of the turn
3: Each model in the target unit may only make a single Close Combat attack in the following Fight phase

Nemesis Daemonhammer should be limited to Ordo Malleus, but should actually have some kind of difference between it and the Thunder Hammer. I'm thinking that just straight-up dropping the -1 To Hit penalty would be the best way to represent that.
Daemonblades should also make a return, and here's one instance where I recommend just bringing back the old chart, with some modifications where things don't fit - Two dice rolls, re-rolling duplicated
2-3: S increases to User+3
4: You may make three additional attack with this weapon
5: Gain AP -3
6: Gain +1W each time an unsaved wound with the Daemonblade is inflicted up to a maximum of 10 wounds.
7: Pick a single result
8: Any to-hit rolls of 5 or 6 generate an additional attack
9: Gain FNP (5+)
10: Always wounds Infantry on a 2+
11+: Increases Damage to d3 and, if the bearer is a psyker, gives the bearer +1 to Psychic Tests

Ordo Hereticus gets the Null Rod, which replaces current rules with a minor Culexus-style ability. "Enemy Psykers within 12" suffer a -1 to Psychic Tests."

Acolytes regain the option for Carapace Armor and Power Armor.

Finally, give them their own detachment:
Inquisitorial Warband
1 HQ, 0-3 Elites, 0-3 Troops, 0-3 Dedicated Transports.
Restrictions:
The entire Detachment must share the same Ordo Keyword. Only a single Warband Detachment may be taken
Troops choices and Dedicated Transports may be taken from the Adepta Ministorum, Deathwatch, or Grey Knights faction. If they do so, they gain the 'Ordo Hereticus', 'Ordo Xenos', or 'Ordo Malleus' keywords respectively.

Benefits:
The Inquisitor may take a Warlord Trait even if they are not the Warlord.
All units in the detachment gain the 'Quarry' special rule.

As for pricing changes...
First off, drop everything to Space Marine prices. Our Power Fists shouldn't be 20pts while Space Marines are paying 12.

35pts for an Inquisitor. 55pts for an Inquisitor in Power Armor.
Psychic Powers cost 20pts, or +1 PL.

Inquisitorial Acolytes are reduced to 6pts. In Carapace Armor they cost 8, and in Power Armor they cost 11.

Rad and Psykotroke grenades cost 20pts. Only one may be taken.

The Nemesis Daemonhammer costs... We'll say 30pts, though I'm unsure if that's a little high or not. Deamonblade costs 20pts.

Null Rod costs 25pts.
