So Trazyn has pretty much sucked day one on the tabletop. His fluff is really awesome; if you don't believe me look him up. He is basically Dr. Doom and the Collector rolled up into one for the Necrons.
I propose a fun and yet more powerful vs for Necrons. With the new codexes coming out we see new warlord traits and I would like to tie this into his trait and maybe a stratagem.

Here it goes. If you take Trazyn as your warlord you can turn every lord in your army as a copy of Trazyn, so you are running multiple Trazyns. If all your lords/Trazyns die then he is considered lost. He would lose his other ability to take over a character with this ability of course.

They would probably need to up his points or have it cost stratagems to work. I wouldn't make him more powerful than he currently is with this and I think nobody would complain about this ability being broken, but maybe annoying.

I really don't get what this is meant to achieve.

He needs to be able to replace Lychguard again. That'd be a super quick fix.

I like my idea better do to he wouldn't be replacing anyone when he dies. There would be multiple Trayzns on the table at the same time which I feel would make more sense to his fluff. He infects himself into multiple necron court member in which they all become Trazyn in his fluff. He is almost exactly the Same as Agent Smith from the Matrix according to the fluff. If he got to do that with lychguard it would be too broken as you'd have a squad of 10 more trayzns that you only pay 30 points each for.

He's replacing his own bodyguard. It really isn't broken like you say it is.

I never said your idea for a rule was, but it has nothing to do with what I mentioned. I don't think you understand what my idea implied. I said each lord is Trayzin, so you as a necron player have to buy multiple Trayzins in order to field his ability. My idea isn't him replacing a lord when he dies but rather every lord is the Trayzin model. If we did that with lychguard that would be uttlerly broken as you would be spending 30 points for a source of "My Will be Done." and his other abilities. In the case of using my ability idea on lychguard you could have for 300 points 10 trazyins all with every one of his abilities all fielded at the same time. That would be broken, hence my idea would only work on lords which also completely fits his fluff.
