I have a large (4000 points plus) collection of old warhammer Wood Elves that i played with varying degrees of success back in 8th. When i got into AoS, i started with the Wanderers, and had even less success.

Now, however, after the release of the GHBv2 i am on a roll with them. The ability to teleport around board edges means i can deny my opponent points by moving wounded heroes and units up to 72 inches along their board edge. Add to that the command ability allowing units within 6 of the general to teleport to any board edge, not just the one they are within 6 inches of, and the army has become miles better.

The GHBv2 was very kind to the Wanderers, just what the army needed really.

That is really nice to hear. I've been thinking about starting a wanderers army, but could not find any list or tips. Glad to hear the new book helped them, they look a Lot more viable now.
Can I ask what your lists looks like, and a few tips?

Second this.

Never faced Wanderers, would like to hear more about them.

They are an army that makes me want to flip the table. They can avoid engaging you forever and continue to shoot from the table edge and then port away if you get close. My least favorite army to play against.
