Hello all,

I have had a serious problem hoarding miniatures that would never get painted / played with. Recently I sold out most of my collection in order to "start fresh" and pick a single army within my 2 main game systems (40k and AoS).

In so, I need to choose an army for AoS and are looking for some insight into the armies I like. So if you can help answer any of my questions I would greatly appreciate it:

Kharadron Overlords:
- Really like the look of these guys, but are they viable? Heard lots of negative talk. I am NOT a tournament player btw, but prefer not to get roflstomped every time
- Are a mostly-ship based list viable? I really love the look of these ships and would love to have a full "armada" of ships :-D
- Are they hard to play?

Fyreslayers
- Also like these, but afraid they become too monotone in their playstyle?
- Is it possible not always to go horde-style lists?

Ironjawz / Bonesplitterz
- Love orks. included both factions here as I would probably collect both. What is the main difference between ironjawz and bonesplitterz?

If you can give any more insight into these armies I would greatly appreciate it, as this is what I have narrowed it down to

Thanks everyone.

I play both Fyreslayers and Ironjawz. Sadly, outside of the Sigmar army and the Chaos armies, most are pretty much one dimensional. That doesn't mean they aren't fun though. I expect GW will improve the ranges a bit down the road and make each army as diverse as the main two.
As to the original question, Fyreslayers are super defensive with their multiple saves and have a great ranged unit.
Ironjawz have a few fun toys but are defined by their multiple wounds, speed, and hitting like trucks.
