Here a update on Malanthrope and few paint on other bugs, add more base coat..

I did some layer, few dry brush and add few more details..







It’s ready to go to battle. Look good enough to go on the table!

I was having a break from painting for now. Need focus on other thing at home before head off to tournament. I just packed those in my haul bag and ready for tournament!


Lot of paint done, many repair from old one.. Here enough model that I haven’t finished yet.

For you who spot Old One Eye on left side. I just finish green stuff modelling the face but not finished painting...


Time to put down tool and head off to tournament!

Metamorph-Fex

My next big project is conversion Hellbrute into Metamorph-Fex.

Lucky I was quitting in Chao Space marine and unable to sell it... so I conversion whole Chao Space marine armies into Genestealers Cult theme instead!

I am start with hard part - Hellbrute, I have 3 hellbrute I never use. I clipped off all chao spiky and smooth it down to skin.. use fex’s enchanted sense head and smooth all head crest down to skin.. I use blue tack to mock it up before greenstuff on it.

For anyone who heart attack over chao’s spiky bits... want not, waste not!



To me, I am not sure about fex’s head as it may too big ( please tell me your feedback!) and maybe I can copy broodlord’s head and sculpting it on hellbrute body instead.....



Broodlord size head look about right to me, but require more time for greenstuff sculpting.

And third arm will be under arm slot where ‘chao mouth’ underarm.

Really awesome to see the progression of these conversions!

I think I’ve got it. I like how it look.
I was worn out for third one... I’ll do again tomorrow for final one, and hopefully third one cured and I can do the finish touch.
