As the title says, i am trying to track down the rules and some models i can print out to play with.

But not much else, having never played im not sure how much rules wise i am missing.

Also i cannot seem to find much of anything in the way or ships i can print out that suit the game.

they dont even need to be 3D just some 2d imaged i can print out to show what ship is what and put on bases to play with.

----

I have found myself drawn to some of the old specialty GW games by having limited funds buying 2nd hand is not an option.

You might as well hunt down a complete box set on ebay. There are a lot of components you need to play the game that goes beyond the rulebooks.

I have just about everything for Man O' War and its one of my favorite games of all time. The way ships take damage and how it effects their game play is pretty brilliant. No two games are ever alike.

And the expansion set Plague Fleet is really good, but Sea of Blood introduces flyers and sea monsters that add even more depth to the main box set.

It wont be cheap to track down complete sets, but the good news is you don't need a lot of minis to play the game. You can have fun with a fleet involving only 7 miniatures. Standard 1000 point fleets vary depending on what race you play, as some ships are cheaper than others.

So start with finding a complete main game box and go from there. The rulebook in that set covers several races too so you'll have some stuff to chew on before you go after the expansions, which you'll want to do.
