Hello

I have a Lord on Juggernaut and want my army to be based around skullcrushers. Is that viable? What would I build around it as the rest of the army?

Which brings me to my question on what to buy: I could start with the start collecting, or go straight for the 6 skullcrushers box. In the long-run would having those blood warriors be worth it? Also I have a couple slaughterpriests already.

What would a 2000 point list look like for khorne that has a large group of skullcrushers?

2000+

Go for the battalion Gore pilgrims first.

Skullcrushers really aren't that good unfortunatly. But the lord rocks imho. I would sooner support him with chaos knights with glaives then with skullcrushers as they do really lack the power expected on the charge from cavalry. (it is a pitty they cannot throw a dice for each model in the unit for impact.. that would make them viable)

Skullcrushers look prettty badass, and if you use the Brass Stampede they become quite a bit more nasty. I like them over knights cuz of five wounds vs three ( though I like runeshields on the knights). I recommend glaives for rend -1 but that's just my preference.

Let's say you max out and take 7x3 crushers plus juggerlord for max awesomeness in the Stampede. You'll have 700 pts left in a 2k army for a Gore Pilgrims (2 slaughter priests, 1 bloodsecrator, 5 blood warriors, and 10 blood reavers). That combo is pretty damn tough and I couldn't beat it with horsey Archaon and two hellcannons. I'm not that great of a strategist but I had no idea how to handle it besides sniping leaders. Then the enemy was too close and game over.
