So I'll be moving up to Newcastle soon and I was wondering where all the Geordie players hung out, where's the best tables at?

I'll have to take a look when I get there. £4 per person seems quite expensive for a gaming hall without scenery and is only open for 3hr 30mins though, my local gaming hall is a £1 per person, has 8 tables set up for 40k with scenery, has other tables for different games and is open 3 times a week for 4hr 30mins on Mondays and 6hrs the other two days. Are things that more expensive in newcastle?

It's average-ish. Durham Raiders is £3.50 for 4 hours on a Tuesday or 5 on a Sunday. My club (Darlington's Dogs of War) is £1.50 for 5+ hours on a Wednesday night or Saturday (with £10 yearly membership).

There's also Section 8 in South Shields, but I don't know how much they charge.

Hey mrhappyface,I own Battle Bunker,a dedicated venue with 18 8x4 tables which are all individually themed with GW terrain. It's play all day for £5 and I'm open 7days a week, 11am till late. Weekdays you can just turn up but weekends it's best to book a table. I hold regular tournaments and events so thertes always something on or coming up. I'll try to get to Sunderland at some point to take a look, it's just I'm quite busy right now so it's hard to go somewhere that's so out of the way.
