Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to get some rules clarifications about Death guard in general.

1) With the battle forged army rule "Inexorable advance" Can we still benefit from it on our plague marines in a battle forged army including some plague bearers as troops?

2) The biologus putrifier (master of grenades) gives +1 to the S and damage of grenades but also inflict a mortal wound on 6 to wound, my question is does this mortal wound inflict 2 damage instead of one?

3) When you use the daemonic ritual and you have saved points for your invocations, when you invoc a daemon unit can this one come and increase the number of models in an existing unit or is it mandatory to create a new unit?
(for example can I add 10 plague bearers invocated to an existing plague bearer unit on the table?)

1) no.

2) I don't see why it would

3) has to be a new unit

The biologus putrifier rules increases the strength and damage characteristics by +1 so a blight grenade's new profile would be S4, D2. In addition, on a 6+ it causes a mortal wound. So, 2 normal damage and one mortal wound on a 6.

1. or if you keep the plaguebearers in their own detachment or as reinforcement points, then yes.

Mortal Wounds never inflict 2 damage. Each is a separate thing inflicting 1 damage. Read the MW rules in the Core Rules. You can therefore never add 1 damage to MWs.

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"
