Can't seem to find anything about this anywhere. If there is another thread up and running please lock me up.

Anybody else going to be purchasing some prints? https://warhammerart.com/ Always though GW should have had something like this and I'm very happy it's now a reality. What are your thoughts?

I'm actually pretty excited about this (found it recently myself). There are several Guard prints that I love and always wished I could get in bigger formats.

Yet one more thing that GW decided to use to attack my wallet.

Its surprising they did not have it, but i will probably not find anything i want there :(
And it has really stiff Competition for fantasy Sci fi art.

Dire avenger one is snazzy, But the price is quite steep :(

Boy...that's a bunch of bad art. There are maybe a handful of pieces on that whole site which deserve a place on someone's wall. Some incredibly poor choices. Add to that the cost is double what you'd pay at any normal art site...and yeah...that's a big fail.

Huh, I guess it was right to keep the old GW artbooks which cost like £20. Some of that art's from those, which're already A3 prints.

Looking at the site I get the feel that people would buy stuff for the nostalgia factor based on all the older art. Most of its really garish, though that's maybe the target audience. Its difficult to find anything where the proportions aren't ridiculous, but there is the odd nice piece.

Yes though, people buying stuff would be doing so as its "official" art. If you just wanted Games Workshop related prints then go over to DeviantArt, apply the right search filters and you'll come across loads of third party prints.

I wonder why the price fluctuates so much? A lot of them are going for £35, which others £60 for the same sized print. At first I thought it was licencing - i.e. the Fire Warrior cover -, though its all over the place. I'd have thought that GW had bought out the artist's share for commercial reproduction rights.

And damn, where's all the Warhammer Fantasy battle art? Its just all the new stuff in that section. The old box sets had some great covers on them.
