Hello, hopefully a quick open and shut.

Had this come up in game (was running a lord of contagion & typhus together.) Nurgles rot is a 7 inch aura, in wich enemy units close to units within 7 inches suffer a MW on a 4+

All <DEATH GUARD> units within 7" of a friendly <LORD OF CONTAGION> are surrounded by a deadly aura of plague and disease. Roll a dice for each enemy unit that is within 1" of any affected friendly units at the start of your turn; on a 4+ that enemy unit suffers a mortal wound

Typhus was in close combat with an enemy unit & a character, with a depleted squad of poxwalkers. The LoC was 6 inches behind typhus out of combat. The poxwalkers were within 7 inches of both typhus and the LoC at the start of the turn. How many nurgles Rot rolls per Unit? 2 or 1?

Only 1. The requirement is being within range of any unit. If it said for each unit then sit would stack.

Q: Lots of aura abilities say they grant an ability to nearby
units that are within range of any such models. Are the bonuses
cumulative (i.e. if I am within range of two models with
identical aura abilities, is the bonus doubled)?
A: Unless stated otherwise, no. The bonus for such an
ability applies once if any (i.e. one or more) of these
models are within range.
