I’ve decided to use the Martian range to base my army but it keeps flaking and falling off.
Does anyone have a way to stop this from happening?

Coat the base with a good primer first, then apply ironearth/crust. When that's dry seal with a flat clear coat.

It needs something underneath to connect to or it will shrink itself right off the base due to the nature of the crackle medium. No applying directly to plastic, you gotta prime it first.
