To start off english isnt my first language so please forgive me if anything i say doesnt make sense cause im bad at explaining things.

we have a squad of 30 boys so LD - 30
they get shot up and lose 18 boyz, does that make the squads ld 12 now?
i cant see if nobz have breakin heads rule in the index? (i might be blind)
but now with those boyz having 12 ld and i have to roll a die and add the total dead boyz no matter whats that above 12, that means those last 12 run off going off of the rulebooks - every 1 above the ld value of the dice rolled + dead models = 1 model is slain and leaves?

Correct.

If they are within a certain distance you get to roll a d6 for each model that flees on a 6 they don't flee.

If warboss is nearby you can opt to suffer D3 mortal wounds if you fail a morale test.

There is also spending 2 cps so no one flees.

If you have another mob of 30 boys nearby they count as LD 30 still so even with 18 casualties you will not lose any.

where can i find that rule?

but like in my case i da jumped 30 boyz behind enemy lines and the next turn they literally all ran away? that seems real bad for morale for 8th?
unless boss nobz get breakin heads in the codex when its out

As per the morale rules, "For each point that the test is failed by, one model in that unit must flee and is removed from play". So in the instance you describe, you'll be losing 6+D6 (i.e. 7-12) additional boyz. You can't pass the morale test, because the number of casualties (18) exceeds your leadership (by 6). But you won't necessarily lose ALL the remaining boyz.

Cardiff

- Roll D6
- Add casualties
- Subtract Ld

So D6+18-12 is how many you'll lose. You'll only lose them all if you roll a 6.

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"
