If someone came up to me on the street and said "Want to hear a joke?" I'd warily say yes, keeping my hand firmly on my whistle if things took a turn for the truly creepy. If they told me it was a 5 hour long dick joke, I'd be 50/50 on wether I decided to hear them out. Thursdays and Sundays are my days off usually, so my time is precious.

I'm an hour in and I'm hooked. I love true crime podcasts, TV shows and documentaries. I'm obsessed with them. Not sure what it is, I blame my dad watching Matlock, Columbo, Miami Vice and CHiPs and my mom watching Murder She Wrote pretty much religiously as I was growing up.

Anyway, its a mockumentary about a fake crime at a high school and it completely satires the formula of most true crime shows and podcasts. And its pretty funny and feels authentic.

I believe I saw the trailer posted somewhere on this forum when it was first teased, but I couldn't find the thread to necro, so I started this one. Its not going to be for everyone, but I don't think I'll be able to watch another formulaic True Crime documentary the same way after this.

Here's the trailer, just the tip if you will:

"Sometimes the only victory possible is to keep your opponent from winning." - The Emperor, from The Outcast Dead.
"Tell your gods we are coming for them, and that their realms will burn as ours did." -Thostos Bladestorm

Oh this is bad, reall bad. But then again I am probably the wrong type of audinece for humor like this, so that needs to be taken into account. But Im sure those whom dig these sorts of things will be pleased

I've watched the entire series and I'll give my 2 pennies.

Firstly, the main drive of the show gets in the way sometimes. When they start talking about the intricacies of drawing dicks it feels juvenile.

Secondly the characters feel well written for their parts. The typical jock, nerd, cool guy, hot girl etc.

There's a level of subtle humour when you have distinguished teachers talking about those things as well.

I really liked the show as it was put out. I might not recommend it to everyone but I was gripped to the end.

Started watching yesterday, 3 episodes in. I'm hooked pretty good.
Your concern about this was actually made fun of in the show, when Peter tells the Spanish teacher about this and realises how dumb and juvenile he sounds. On the contrary, Dylan immediately takes this as big news and acts completely normal about it.
