Ontario, Canada (within 10mins. Of MWG)

So, this is my first ever list, just going to check and see how it settles with you guys, haven't tried it yet as I don't have all the models yet, so, here it is:

HQ:
Warboss: attack squig, big choppa, shoota 64
Big Mek: Choppa, KFF 75
Big Mek: Choppa, Shock attack gun 100
Big Mek: Choppa, Shock attack gun 100

Troops: 29 slugga boyz, boss nob with sluggardly and power klaw, 30 total 205

Elites: Painboy, Power Klaw 65
5 Nobz, choppas sluggas, 1 power stabba 88
5 nobz, 3 power klaws, 1 power stabba, 1 killsaw, all sluggas 191

Heavy Support:
Deff Dread, stock 131
Deff Dread, stock 131
6 Killa Kans, 6 rokkit launchas 378
6 Killa Kans, 6 rokkit launchas 378

Dedicated Transport:
Trukk, Big shoota 82

Grand total: 1988pts

So basically the 10 nobz and the painboy take the trukk to rush ahead and tie up the shooty units. On each flank there's one deff Dread and 6 kans, the dreads pincer in to attack more shooty units, whereas the kans protect the dreads from enemy melee with their rokkits. There is also one big Mek with shokk attack gun with each group. All the while, The 30 boyz push through at speed with the warboss giving them extra mobility, and the other big Mek giving 5+ invuln. saves.

Thanks for checking it out, let me know what you think and what I should change, just no bikers, I freaking hate bikers.

interesting list. recommendations i would say easily take the grot orderly on the pain boy at best it saves you a command point at worst it eats a shot for your pain boy. and the other 8 points could be used to give another nob a better choppy weapon. its an interesting take on orks i haven't seen before would be interested to see how it works. i feel it would lose to hoard armies but do well against monsters and Armour

With the spared points just add another big choppa and another stabba to your nobz.

The SAG is not a solid option, one could be fun, but two are too many. With the same points you can field 2 KMKs instead (and an ammo runt for one of the nobz squads) without losing any CP since you would still have 3 HQs, enough for 3 detachments.

So if I remove both SAGs, I can afford 2 Kustom Mega Kannons. And if I take an ammo runt and a grot orderly, that puts me at 1982 points.

I'd still have 18 points to spare, so do I just buy 2 big choppas for my stock squad of nobz?

Don't bring stock big meks though. If you decide to cut the SAG cut the big mek too. If you cut them both you can afford 4 KMKs. I think keeping one with SAG and replacing the other one with 2 KMKs could be a decent compromise.

If you have some spared points, big choppas for the nobz are a good investment.
