Sorry if this is a silly question, but I just recently bought a SC Cadian set and noticed the Leman Russ doesn't have an option to put a stubber or bolter on the commander's cupola. My older models have these options. Is this something unique to the SC box, or does the regular box no longer come with weapons for the cupola?

Actually, this must be missing a whole sprue - there's no hedgecutter/plow or hunter killer missile either.

"Boy, this is the GUARD. We don't hide behind sandbags, we just fire from behind the piles of dead conscripts. That there plow on your tank is so you get through the piles to the front line!"

You don't get the vehicle accessory sprue with any of the IG vehicles now.

Some of those parts are on the new chimera sprue.

Also, dozer blades no longer have any rules.

I got a basilisk this week that came with the accessory sprue.

Edit: yeah the LR doesn't have a vehicle assessor sprue on the web page pictured either. That's asinine.

It's been the case since the Cruddace book and these new Leman Russ/Chimera kits.

The Basilisk includes the sprue because the frame that has either the hull Heavy Bolter or Heavy Flamer(I can't remember which off the top of my head) in the new Chimera setup isn't included in the box, since it has the upper hull for the Chimera.

They'll probably make conscripts cost two points to move more twenty year old infantry squad sprues.

That's really weird, because the index still have the option to *take* a stubber or bolter. Unless there any new models released with the IG codex, I don't think I'll be getting the codex. Most likely just the cards, which is what I have been doing with the recent releases (I don't play tournaments, so I don't need to be on the cutting edge).

I'm kind of glad the plows don't cost points, now I need not fear actually putting them on my tanks (got extras because I don't put them on my chimeras) just to make them look more menacing.

Now, if they would fix smoke launchers so you don't lose a turn of shooting - or waste an order/command die to "Strike and Shroud", I'd be happy.

And what is with the Plasma sponsons being able to blow the tank up? Has that been errata'ed or is overcharged plasma something you only want to do when the tank has 1-2 wounds left and you really, really need to kill something?
