Hey Looking for help with a midrange to close up in your face list trying to make it a fluffy list that wont get stomped every game. its broken up into what squads go in what transport or how they'll be grouped together

Hi Predatorfan,

Some things you may need to fix. Not commenting on viability just unit composition:

1. The unit with: Uriah Jacobus, Acro's and Crusaders cannot ride in a Repressor. Repressors can only transport <ORDER> units.

2. Your second DW kill team needs 5 Veterans before you can add a vanguard vet (the points are off if you did). Moreover, (it's a bit hard to read) but you cannot give a veteran armed with a frag cannon any other equipment, so no chainsword (as per the update). Furthermore, your kill teams will be 1 squad of 5 (all vets) and 1 squad of 6 (5 vets + 1 vanguard) which takes up 12 slots in the transport (no room for the captain).

Thanks for the info I'll sub it for a rhino and see what I can fiddle to put a jump pack on the captain and an extra veteran. Do you think the list can handle it's own?

Ok so I replaced it with a rhino with Hunter killer. Gave the captain a jump pack to keep up. Took out a plasma gun from the acolytes and subbed it with a storm bolster and 2 needle pistols

Personal opinion here (If running a fluffy list, I run it how I want. It is how I want to play them, e.g my favorite fluffy list atm has 3 detachments: 1 SoB, 1 GK & 1DW + Inqui (My all ordo strike force at 2k). Ubber competitive...no, ubber fun yes!!)

Its hard on a forum to give opinions on a fluffy list without some clue on what you want/must include?

Things I would change?...

1. Acolytes: Since they got reduced to 1 wound they are not worth their points cost (at 8 points are many other imperial soldiers similar points cost wayyyyy better)
2. Inquisitors: for their points don't add that much, maybe if add 1 for fluff, but otherwise crap atm.
3. Uriah... is wasted could add almost 3 priests for his cost (not saying to add 3. If add one + some gear and have alot of points left over)
4. Your DW: A captain is good (though for 11 more can get a master atm). However, if want an expensive captain I pref combi-melta & Thunder hammer, is an easy convert from Artemis. Moreover, is 1 point cheaper than the pistol and I think has more viability.

For your DW squads, is all to preference. Though some tips:
Bolters are usually better than bolt pistols (have more versatility). Combi-weaps are good (cause if want can use the bolter profile as well for special ammo)

Maybe swap out your Acolytes for actual Sisters - the Inquisitor can ride with them just fine.
