So i was trying competitive lizards for a change and tried a game of 2500. Now i don't want to spell out the obvious (saurus knights S*CK), but i think i have a good grasp of a cool looking and competitive list. What are your thoughts of this list?

Eternal Starhost
Eternity Warden
3x 5 Saurus Guard

Slann w/ Great Rememberer (General)
Skink Priest
Oldblood on Carnosaur w/ blade of realities
Scar Veteran on Carnosaur w/ incandescent rectrices
2x Bastilladon w/ shooting ark

Plan for setup:
Footslogging heroes surrounded by the saurus guard. 2 Bastilladon in front and the carnosaurs flanking the saurus guard.
Teleport the bastilladons turn 1 to lock everything up (1 w/ 2+ sv due to mystic shield).
Move everything up while the bastilladon keep the enemy lines locked in place and finish the deal.
Quite straight forward and durable list IMO, but i would love to hear your opinions with arguments please

Eternal starhost is awesome, borderline OP even, but pales in comparison to the raw cheese of skinks. 200 points for 40(!) skinks is simply too good to pass up in a competitive scene, especially because they fill battleline. At 2500 its hard not to justify at least two units of 40 if not three. You'll need four battleline anyway, so eternal starhost won't cut it alone. My advice is to run heavenswatch starhost with 4 skink units and the 2 bastiladons you already have.

Ah sorry i tried 2500 to field test most of the units, but this list is meant for 2000 points. As for the skinks, im not entirely sure if they fit in my army and i hate horde painting after my 700 model orcs and goblins army so wanted to get some cool monsters and hard hitting infantry. I appreciate the input though and will look into skinks when i get home and have the book at hand

If you want to cheese out (also known as "tournament army" in AoS) with Saurus then Bloodclaw Starhost is a good option, as is Fangs of Sotek. Bloodclaw is good because it lets you stack multiple saurus-buffing command abilities (even with a Slann as the general). Fangs of Sotek is nice because of easy requirements (Sunclaw Starhost fills your battleline) and because bloodroar can be absolutely devastating to elite units that normally have nothing to fear from battleshock. Bloodroar does not care if you passed the check or not; even something like a unit of Morghasts at bravery 10 can lose models during the battleshock phase despite being unable to actually fail the check.
