I'll bet anything it's not console exclusive. At worst it's PS4/Xbone first then general release a few months later.

Ok, it may technically be "console exclusive" but it's not literally console exclusive. The master race will get to play RDR2 I'm sure.

And when they do they'll just bitch about it being a console port, or something wrong with the options menu, or bad fps, or some other Total Biscuit inspired horse gak about a game that works fine.

Gamers, complaining loudly and at length about tiny, nitpicky details? Never. This is unheard of!

Might want to expand on that point, as well those all seem valid to me...
Still waiting for the original to make it to PC. I played a bit of it on my PS3, but playing that kind of game with a controller was an exercise in frustration for me, so I gave up after awhile.

See, I can't play those style games on a PC without a controller.
Different strokes for different folks.
I'm extremely excited for this. RDD is hands down one of my favorite games of all times. Rockstar has shown that they know how to get games right, so I'm super pumped for this.
My biggest hope for this is that it's a little less linear than the first. The reason I still haven't got past the first act in that is that despite giving you such a beautiful and expansive open world, the story missions is still largely going from point A to point B, having a shootout then going back to point A, then rinsing then repeating for the next one, and the one after that, so on and so forth.
If RDR2 can add in a little more variety, a little more openness, then they've got past the one thing that always held me back. Say, for example, each town or region has its own set of main and side quests, and no set order to do them in, all contributing to an overall narrative in a slightly less linear way than RDR (go and do a mission for the Marshall, then for Bonny, then Nigel, then back to the Marshall ect) then they've overcome that dichotomy of open world and linear gameplay. As much as it's become a bit of a cliche to over-fill open world games with side activities and radiant quests and points of interest to explore, RDR2 could definitely benefit from that, applied with restraint of course.
