You're best off asking on a dedicated PC hardware forum, I like Hardforum myself, people there tend to be knowledgeable and enthusiastic gamers. All I can say is my system, which is an ancient i5 750, 16GB RAM and a GTX960 plays it on "high" (second from the highest setting which is "ultra") with 2x AA at 1920x1080 quite happily. And by "quite happily" I mean 60 units running around on a battlefield with plenty of trees all in frame at the same time fighting each other and maintaining 30+ FPS. When playing a strategy game like total war I can't tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps so I'm happy (give me a racing game or a first person shooter and 60fps feels much smoother, but total war I can't tell the difference). Above "high" and my system takes a real bad hit, running mid 20's but quite a lot of choppiness.
