Storm Trooper with Maglight

I loved the design of these guys as soon as I saw them, so went about making my own version with what I could find. Substituted FW heads (for availability reasons) and lost the sword due to a lack of reliable sources for bulk sheathed swords that fit the scale. If anyone has ideas I'd be all ears. Reference He contains a mixture of Cadian, Scion and Empire pieces from Forge World and Games Workshop. Its a bit dark but I don't have an alternate photo setup right now. Thanks for looking.

Looks good, and far more in line with fluff from IG units than the boring Cadian crap. Well done.

They look great! feathered caps are always a neat touch. i'm not sure about a source for swords like that sadly. i know that AoS stormcast figures often come with seperate sheated swords but that's probably not the right scale and certainly too pricey.

Great work. Too bad about the sheathed swords, the one in the codex looks so cool. But your model and paint job are awesome nonetheless!

The empire greatswords kit has several sheathed swords, they're about right for scale too. I think the WD model might even have one.

2000pts IG. ( based on fallout US Army)
3000pts XIIth Legiones Astartes 8th Assault Company. (Pre heresy)
never in the field of human conflict, has so much been fired at so many, by so few.
My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions. Loyal servant to the true emperor Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.

The High Elves Spearmen kit has tons of sheathed sword that should fit no problem.
