I'm particularly happy with this big guy, so thought I'd share in the Showcase (also, a few notes)

Gorgeous. The glow effect in particular looks very naturalistic. How did you handle painting the exposed "heart?" Before or after attaching the ribs?

Thanks!

I'd definitely considered doing the "heart" before assembling, but there really isn't a ton of detail on it, and I'd either need to deal with how to paint the exterior and paint it separately, so I just went with painting the core pretty early and then the area around it, and trying not to go near that area for the rest of the process, which wasn't too hard, since I was mostly handling it by the arms or neck until I stuck it on the base.

Oops-- completely forgot to reply here. Thanks! Yeah, I think the model doesn't have fantastic detail, but with some freehand/general effort, you can improve on that, and the bones (i.e. pose, scale, etc.) are great.

Next up, the Gold Smoke Knight (notes)

And a different take on the Watcher, for yet more boss fight:

Lovely stuff!

Do you have a regular gaming group that you use these with?

If so, they're spoiled!

Thanks!

Yep, there are three of us who can usually coordinate at least one or two sessions a week, and at least half of them have been Kingdom Death recently.

Incredible job again!

Love the ethereal job on the Watcher (is it?)

Agree that you have a very fortunate gaming group!
