You should put this in your existing thread

MadCowCrazy, thank you for the suggestion.

Due to our other thread being strictly for NSFW miniatures, we thought it would be inappropriate to have our SFW releases and updates in there. We don't want to force those who may want to see our SFW releases have to wade through all the NSFW content, for feedback and discussion on this new line will vary greatly compared to what has been shown and discussed in the other thread.

We have been warned about mislabeling NSFW content in the past, so we wish to follow those guidelines and keep these two subjects separate.

Regards,

Tomek

Ufff, yeah, considering the quality of the Slave girls, I'm kinda hyped to see what they'll reveal. My hopes are high

The reasoning for having a separate thread is a good one, so we're going to allow this for now. Let's see how it goes!

I have to say that putting this new line of minis in a new thread is a good idea, I likely would not have looked if it was in the old thread.

Which is a shame, because that is a very nice looking figure.

BrookM, thank you for the question.

The Strife Series was actually inspired by everything from Stephen King's novel "The Stand," the movie "The Road," various PC games (Wasteland series, Fallout series, Jagged Alliance series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.), to us mainly wanting to move away from the way overdone post-apocalyptic tropes that everybody seems to have exhausted. We were just getting sick of seeing every post-apocalyptic miniature being released revolve around radiation/mutations, zombie plagues, Mad Max, or an out of control AI and it's android army.

We just wanted to create a realistic interpretation of what survivors look like after a modern-day catastrophic event, which has nothing to do with what was mentioned above, that had destroyed law and order on a global scale. People may use these miniatures as they please, but this was our initial motivation to create this series.

In regards to the head, it is cast as a separate piece. We have also included an alternative head that is unmasked, and the suppressor is completely optional on the DMR rifle.

Regards,

Tomek

Or, you know, more of both.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

I love everything about this model... except the hair. Very anime/cartoony looking to me.

I'll keep an eye on this. With a head swap she could do for more realistic modern games, or well yes, just any sci-fi or post-apocalyptic setting.

How does it scale though? Is it "heroic" 28mm, or smaller?

Thank you all for the feedback.

The hair was one of the more difficult aspects of this miniature, for reproducing the "blowing hair" look for resin casting was quite a bit more difficult than expected.

However, we are very optimistic that talented painters will be able to utilize shading and blending techniques to make the hair appear very realistic.

Nice sculpting work, but it definitely doesn't resemble "The Road" to me...at all. She's wearing a very modern tactical backpack, and using alta kneepads and a supressed accu-modded M14 w/ a serious scope on there. It's way too tech/equipped for a post-apocalypse mini to me. Looks more like an anime special forces lady.
