New to Astra Militarium I have access to more troops, and command squads. Pask, 2 LR Battle Tanks and 2 Demolisher LR, sadly I don't have more Ratlings or any Psykers, at some point I'll get more. Playing casual games with friends and trying to build a list to take on allcomers.
The list is strong on Command points with 14 and its ability to shoot down range. Its weak in assault and concedes a ton of map control. I plan on moving the bullgryns and flamer Chimera to objectives, the Heavy Bolter Chimera is a box for Creed that can be used late game to transport a veteran sqaud to an objective. With the Deathstrike I can force the enemy to attack me which will leave them open the rest I can deploy and use depending on the map and objectives.

Looks like a fun list to play against.

You may benefit from catachan regiment and shift some weapons towards random hit weapons to give it a little more oomph. The sentinels load out seems little odd - maybe HF/chainsaw or ranged weapon only would define its role better while saving you some points, as you look like you need to add more force multipliers. AM right now is all about buffs and hordes. Add in some vox casters and more order issuers.

I plan on taking Strategic Tactics Warlord Trait to give a 50% chance to give that Order to another unit and if we are taking relics I can take Laurels of Command to give a 50% chance at giving a unit a free Order. Along with Sgt Kell give Creed an additional Order I can always spend a command point on issuing an additional order. I put the Saws on the Sentinels to be able to assault once a troop unit has soaked up the charge. But I still want to use missiles or lascannons to get off a good first turn volley. Putting Creed in a Chimera and spending the CP on Orders gives you an 18' cox caster as opposed to his 12.

Personally, I would not put plasma pistols on a multi wound buff model. You roll a 1 and they are just dead. Usually I don't sweat the overheat at all, but losing your 4 wound HQ unit would sting, especially if they were keeping several squads in line.

fair point perhaps those plasma pistols would be better off in the hands of sergeants although you don't have to supercharge and if I did I'd damn well be sure I had rerolls available.

I modified this list to run budget scout sentinels versus greyknights and was very pleased with its ability to deny alpha strikes and first turn objective grabs.
