So we are a store newly into Warhammer and we have a guy wanting to use an Imperial Bastion and put some ranged units in it, then set Magen Ra (I think thats right. I don't have the Eldar Book) on top. Will his Aura work on the guys in the bastion? We know it won't work if Magen Ra is in the Bastion, but we can't find anything in the book that says it won't work on embarked units if he is withing range of the bastion but not in it.

From 'Transports', page 183:

Embarked units cannot normally do anything or be affected in any way whilst they are embarked. Unless specifically stated, abilities that affect other units within a certain range have no effect whilst the unit that has the ability is embarked.

Ok we saw the part at the end about units with the ability being embarked (cause he was going to put Ra in the bastion as well), but we kinda overlooked the first part. Guess that answers the question.

Correct. Embarked units cannot be affected in any way.
